What do you feel is the biggest strength of your company right now?
The biggest strength of our business is the skilled workforce. We are few in number but massive in productivity. This has helped in launching our services quickly and efficiently.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome during the pandemic?
The pandemic has limited the spending capabilities of people and businesses, and thus, our biggest challenge was getting enough subscriptions for our services. However, we managed to gather subscribers immediately after launch of Letter.
What would you do with 15 minutes of fame?
I would explain why personal privacy is important and why one should always strive to protect it.
A marketing gimmick which you believe is pure gold and why?
Under promising the benefits and overdelivering the results. It works great for customer satisfaction and improves visibility by word of mouth.
Your current web-series obsession and why?
My current web-series obsession is Season 5 of The Expanse on Amazon Prime. This science fiction web-series based on the series of novels with the same name is about the fate of humans in the near future while colonizing the solar system and the immediate beyond. I like the series because of its excellent casting and cast diversity featuring actors from all parts of the world, and the realistic portrayal of human nature and geopolitics.
An app you can’t live without
Telegram Messenger. This app fulfills most of my messaging, meeting and group collaboration needs.
Your favorite travel destination
Barcelona in Spain is my favourite destination. I am a beach person. Gorgeous settings with clear blue ocean can be found in Asia, only in the remotest areas of Andaman Islands and Philippines. I absolutely love how in a city setting, the beaches can be so pristine.
My mantra during pandemic
Finding something productive that you also love doing and pursue it. Once the pandemic ends and everyone starts commuting back to work, the extra self-care time saved from not commuting will no longer be there.
What advice do you have for the next generation?
I advise my next generation to dream big, determine if their dream has sufficient potential and if so, pursue it. We have one life and it is too short for sadness and regrets.
