With the discontent growing among the Congress leaders, the party may be in for a big trouble in the state. If the party high command does not take a call at the earliest about the party’s working culture in Gujarat, then it won’t be able to save Congress from splitting.
After the stunning defeat in the civic election in Gujarat, the Congress workers are feeling helpless and questioning the working style of the state party leadership. First in the line to protest against the high command is three-time Congress councillors Dinesh Kachhadiya, who has tendered his resignation to the state chief. According to the sources, Kachhadiya is planning to join Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which opened its account in the state this time. Apart from Kachhadiya, many former Congress councillors and workers are planning to jump the ship and join AAP.
Meanwhile, AAP is also not leaving any stone unturned to solidify its party in the state. Many AAP leaders are in talks with rebel Congress workers. As the number of unhappy workers in Congress is increasing day-by-day, BJP could also be worried of AAP as the new opposition in the state.
