As Canada recently said that it would ban all flights from India for 30 days due to growing wave of Covid 19 cases in the country, the senate member of Veer Narmada South Gujarat University, Manish Kapadiya has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging to take steps towards it and help the students who were going to Canada.
Several students from Gujarat who were to leave for Canada for higher education are now left stranded, due to a month long ban on flights from India.

Many students from across the state had enrolled in universities in Canada and many of their visa clearance were delayed due to which they were preparing to leave by early May. He also said in the letter that some students have already paid for their travel and quarantine arrangement. The money is non-refundable which is heavy burden for them.
Students all across the state are waiting for the government to take some timely steps.
